In her lecture, Jenny provided a stimulating overview of her work on chromosomal evolution and sex determination in vertebrates. Needless to say, our model species Pogona vitticeps, featured prominently, from our discovery of sex microchromosomes in this species the identification of a promising candidate sex determining gene and its unusual mode of action.

You can view her presentation on the Academy website and navigate through the pogona research here.

Well done Jenny!!
