Our laboratory undertakes fundamental research into the mechanisms of sex determination, including gene-environment interactions governing sexual fate and the ecological and evolutionary consequences of thermolabile sex. Our work takes us from the field to the laboratory, from empirical studies to numerical modelling, from population genetics and demographic processes to the realm of comparative genomics and evolution.
